Do you sometimes wonder, what if you had done this, or you haven't done that? Would your life now be different? "What if" is such a hypothetical phrase, yet lets you perhaps inject a little imagination in the humdrum of your mundane life. "What if" is not about regrets, certainly not about whacking yourself on the head for not accomplishing abc or for giving up xyz. Sure, there are times we will ask ourselves "maybe if we hadn't done that, we won't be what we are today. maybe if we've gone there, we won't be here today.
Okay I'm getting gibberish. Nonetheless, to me, the "what ifs" in live give you the chance to think about doing things better, trying out new adventures in your life, making your life a better one than it is already now. So when you are asking yourself what if 从来未发生, perhaps you should think about what has happened as a lesson learnt in life, cherish it and move on.
After all, we only live once.
