Pier Eleven at 11pmHave read about this restaurant in some mags and forums but only paid a visit to it last week. Judging from the sophisticated sounding name, I thought Pier Eleven was located at some high class area so I was a little surprised that it was tucked away at slightly ulu Marina South Pier on the second floor. Somewhat unexpected. Plus the simple facade of the restaurant didn't look too impressive. However, the interior was a different feel altogether. In the dimly lit restaurant, the tables and seats were simple but cosy, and in the far corner, there were art pieces which gave the place a little arty-farty feel. A glass door led to the alfresco seating area which faced the sea. The night breeze was cooling and threatened to (and did) blow some remnant fruit stalks off the plates the waiters were serving.
We opted to sit indoor lest our food turned cold too quickly. Frankly, it was a tad late for dinner cos by the time we decided on our orders, it was almost 10pm. But we did order quite a fair bit, so 不肥才怪! Haha... Anyway, the food did not disappoint, but towards the end I was kind of stuffing myself in the face haha. Ok let the photos speak for themselves....Don't drool k? =p
