Organic Experience

Eh eh eh...read properly, it's organic not orgasmic ah...haha ok not funny...Anyways, Shannen and I decided to try the new organic restaurant, called Organicafe Xperience, located next to California Fitness at Orchard during lunch time today. Being our first time eating at an organic restaurant, we didn't really know what to expect nor order. So to make it simple, we ordered the set lunch which included a soup of the day, a main dish, a drink and a dessert.

Service was good and fast. Our food came at a comfortable pace and the presentation was pretty impressive with white cutlery in interesting shapes and sizes. Food tasted good as well, since it included some fish and chicken, and not only grass (haha). Shannen's only grouse was the ice citron tea which she found tasted like medicine but i kinda liked it cos it tasted like pomelo. She ordered a cappucino in the end and I ended up with 2 glasses of tea. Faint.

Soup of the day was clam chowder accompanied by a sugar stick biscuit- quite yummy!

Shannen's choice - Fish & Chips with side salad, fish had QQ texture, pretty yummy!

My choice - Grilled chicken with mushroom sauce, veggies and wedges .
Chicken was nicely grilled and sauce and veg went well with it.

Dessert was Vanilla ice-cream with fruit cocktail and raspberry sauce - nice!

Haha strange I didn't take a pic of the citron tea which Shannen hated, maybe it looked too plain. And there was alfafa sprouts in all the dishes! Dunno why but whenever I see alfafa sprouts I think of Tan Kheng Hua in Phua Chu Kang cos she kept forcing her son to eat them! =p

Overall we had a great bonding session over a satisfactory lunch. Your treat next week ya gal? Hehe.
